An American DC-3 Plane on an Iceland beach is not a common sight. This was on my first trip to Iceland, and I plan on returning shortly. The summer wind and and hail did not stop me from adventuring out to the plane and capturing this photo of a stranger standing atop it. I always return to this picture as one of my favorites. It almost seems as if the massive mountains are taunting what is left of the plane.
